"A Public Meeting will be held May 29, 2014 to inform commuters and residents about the new plans for improvements to Hoy Road phase two in Madison."

"The Public Meeting will be held from 4 to 7 pm at the Denson Robinson Public Services Complex.  The complex is at 1239 Hwy. 51 less than a mile north of Hoy Road."

From Charlestowne to the Stonegate subdivision entrance there will be three lanes.

The section from Stone gate to Hoy Farms will stay the same with two lanes.

The signal at the Rice Road intersection will be replaced.

The estimated construction cost is $6 million.

MDOT will provide 80% from a federal program, and the city will provide a 20% match.
