Bear Creek water meter improvements

The Bear Creek water meter technicians you have been seeing in our subdivision working on the meters are installing remote (satellite) sensors.  This would reduce the amount of man hours needed to read the meters each month.

By the way, the meters work just the same as before.  If you get a leak somewhere in your house and need to turn off the water, it can still be done manually by turning the valve closest to the street clockwise with an ordinary pipe wrench.

I sent an email inquiry to Bear Creek and got the following reply:

HAL,

IF YOU WILL GO TO OUR WEB SITE BCWATERMS.ORG THERE IS AN UPDATE ON THE IMPROVEMENTS WE ARE MAKING. WE ARE GOING TO FLEX READS WHICH WILL BE READ FROM TOWERS. THIS WILL TAKE APPROX 3 TO 4 MONTHS TO COMPLETE.

ALSO ON OUR WEB SITE YOU WILL WILL FIND OUR WATER QUALITY REPORT WITH ALL INFO ON OUR WATER.

IF I CAN BE OF FURTHER HELP, PLEASE CALL.

THANKS,

JUDY RICHARDSON
